Student Group Affiliation Process

Should your group affiliate with DukeGroups?

Student groups must affiliate with DukeGroups if they intend to do any of the following:

  1. Meet on campus
  2. Apply for GPSC student group funding

Affiliation must be renewed once every academic year and before applying for funding.

DukeGroups Affiliation Process

  1. Go to dukegroups.com
  2. Click on the “Organizations” tab
  3. Click on the “Register an Organization” button
  4. Click on the blue “Register a new organization button”
  5. Begin the registration process

DukeGroups Re-Registration Process

Your group should renew their registration each year or risk losing funds.

  1. Go to dukegroups.com
  2. Click on the “Organizations” tab
  3. Click on the “Register an Organization” button
  4. Search their organization name
  5. Click the blue button that says “Re-register”

Does your group have a FundCode?

If your group does not have a FundCode and you are interested in applying for GPSC funds in the future, please contact the Director of Student Organizations. We encourage groups to apply for FundCode as soon as possible. However, due to the inability to predict when a FundCode will be issued, groups who have applied for a FundCode and are awaiting processing are eligible for application to GPSC Student Group Funding, but GPSC can not disburse funds until a FundCode is issued.

Application Status

To check the status of your FundCode application, log in to and check if your group page shows a FundCode.

Please anticipate a two month timeline for FundCode approval.

For questions about the application, email the Director of Student Organizations.
