Executive Elections

Elections for the Executive Branch occur every year, beginning in April of every Spring semester. More details on how to run for election or vote and provide feedback are published in the Spring semester on our Home Page.

 

Join a Standing Committee

Standing Committees are convened by the Senate to investigate or develop solutions to a particular issue that the Assembly or President has identified, and which have specified terms of authority and a specific time course for the committee to do its work. See the descriptions below!

Standing Committees is formally seated by GPSG Senators; committee participation is also open to the public! For more information, visit the following committee pages and contact the respective Directors.

 

Join the GPSG Senate

The GPSG Senate is the main legislative body of GPSG, and meets regularly to discuss GPSG business, voice concerns, and listen to presentations from University administrators.  Each Duke University college is represented.

Contact the GPSG Senate Speaker or GPSG Chief of Staff with questions regarding your college’s representation on the GPSG Senate. If your college or program has a student council, you may also contact them for more information.
